Everyone has gone through something that changed them forever. For me, and many others like me, addiction was the major challenge I faced. The process of overcoming it was not cut and dry. It was certainly not easy. By the time I was willing to do whatever it took to stop drinking, I was isolated, filled with shame and guilt, and thought it was too late for me. I surprised myself. It wasn't too late and today I'm living a life beyond my imagination.
